For sale is a group of 31 individual pen & ink and watercolor drawings of characters by famed Irish artist Jack Butler Yeats (1871-1957). Each sketch adhered to pages from The Cottage Magazine for 1826. This book was used as a scrapbook for his watercolor sketches. A remarkable assembly of interesting blokes with an index. 29 original pen & ink with watercolor and 1 pen & ink, and one pencil sketch.

Signed and dated February 1902.
