J. Sartain: "Rev. James Montgomery, D. D. Rector of St. Stephen's Church, Philadelphia" Mezzotint Engraving after Thomas Sully, ca. 1835. Trimmed within plate mark with a repaired tear on the right margin which ends at the edge of the image. Another tear at the lower edge runs 1/2" through the 'e' in 'Picture.' Lightly toned and soiled. Sheet measures 14 3/8" x 10 3/4." - $150
Virgil Schoss (?): "Fisherman's Bay," Original Pencil-Signed Etching on Paper, Germany ca. 1930's. The etching is matted, but not laid down. The signature is hard to decipher, but possibly Virg. Schoss. There is a small scratch in the upper right-hand corner that does not affect the image. The German title has been translated at the bottom of the sheet under the matting. Matted measurements are 6 1/4" x 10," Sheet is 11 3/4" x 15 3/4." - $175

Laid down on board with some window toning and abrasions. Glue remains in margins no closer than 1/2" out from the window line. The page is worn and lightly soiled with wrinkles and a 2 1/4" separation on the plate mark in the upper left-hand corner, and two tears in the right-hand margin which have been stabilized by archival filmoplast tape. The entire sheet is bordered on the reverse by brown paper tape. Sheet measures 20 1/4" x 16 1/2;" matting is 21" x 16 3/4." - $200
